You can either revert back to your PC speakers or you can continue to use your HDMI monitor as the audio output source.

  1. If you want to revert to the PC speakers for your audio , try Start > Control Panel > Sounds, Speech and Audio Devices > Sounds and Audio Devices > “audio” tab
  2. If you want to keep the HDMI (or displayport monitor) as the output source, look for the audio out jack (usually on the back of the monitor). Plug that into your external speakers.
