Outlook password change not picked up by iPhone client
I recently changed my outlook 365 password – and was unable to get my iPhone mail client to pick up the new password. Here are a few things I tried…
Step 1 to try
Quit the app (double-click the home button, then swipe the app up). Then open it again and it will tell you it can’t connect, please log in again.
Step 2 to try
Delete the account altogether and re-add it. Note the following attributes before deleting the account – IMAP server (incoming server) , SMTP server, SSL (Advanced Options),
Step 3 to try
Use outlook for iOS app (instead of the built in email client in iOS)
